Consultant Clinical Psychologist

Therapy that meets you as a whole person - mind, body, and nervous system

I believe healing happens in spaces where you don’t have to explain yourself or hold it all together. My approach to therapy is grounded, compassionate, and shaped by the understanding that no two people experience life or healing in the same way. Whether you’re sitting with difficult emotions, making sense of past experiences, or feeling uncertain about what comes next, therapy can be a place to slow down, reflect, and feel supported as you move forward.

I believe therapy should feel safe, collaborative, and human. Rather than focusing on “fixing” you, my work centres on understanding what your system has learned to do in order to survive and adapt. Together, we gently explore patterns that may no longer serve you, while building greater emotional awareness, regulation, and self-compassion. Therapy is paced carefully, with an emphasis on safety, consent, and grounding. There is always room to slow down, pause, or adjust as needed.

Areas of Focus

I work with individuals and couples navigating:

  • Trauma and relational wounds
  • Anxiety, emotional overwhelm, and burnout
  • Low mood and depression
  • ADHD
  • Relationship and attachment difficulties
  • Betrayal, trust issues, and boundary challenges
  • Family dynamics and early life experiences
  • Life transitions, identity, and self-worth

Jilna Varsani

Consultant Clinical Psychologist

My approach to therapy is grounded in creating a space where people feel safe, supported, and understood.

I work with individuals across different stages of life, including children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. In our work together, my focus is on helping you slow down and make sense of your experiences, while developing practical tools to navigate emotions, relationships, and challenges with greater clarity and resilience.

Therapy is always tailored to the individual sitting in front of me. My work is informed by a holistic and integrative approach, allowing us to explore both the emotional and practical aspects of what you may be going through.

I support clients through a range of concerns including grief and trauma, ADHD and emotional regulation difficulties, challenges in childhood and adolescence, anxiety, depression and other mood-related struggles, relationship and family dynamics, substance use, and questions around identity, self-esteem, and personal growth.

At the heart of my work is the belief that meaningful change happens when people feel safe enough to be honest about their experiences and supported enough to move through them at their own pace.

What Clients Can Expect

Clients often describe therapy with me as supportive, grounding, and deeply attuned. You can expect a space where you don’t have to perform, minimise, or have everything figured out. Sessions are collaborative and responsive, with care taken to ensure you feel heard, respected, and emotionally safe.

Therapy is not about rushing toward change, but about building the internal resources that allow change to happen naturally, sustainably and at their own time.

A space to feel heard, held & understood

Therapy is a collaborative process built on trust, collaboration, and emotional safety. Each person arrives with their own history, relationships, and coping strategies, and sessions are guided by what feels most relevant and manageable for you. There’s no expectation to have clear answers or a fixed direction.

Over time, clients often develop greater clarity around their emotions and patterns, a stronger sense of self-understanding, and more compassion toward themselves. Progress isn’t about fixing or forcing change; it’s about creating the conditions where change can happen naturally, at a pace that feels right.
