- About MY PSYCHOLOGIST SAYS
Every Step Towards Mental Health Is a Step Towards a Better Life. Your Mind Deserves Peace and Care
Welcome! As a licensed Clinical Psychologist and Marriage & Family Therapist in Kenya, I believe that therapy isn’t just about talking through experiences, it’s about understanding how the mind, body, emotions, and nervous system work together.
My work is grounded in the understanding that many of our present-day struggles: anxiety, relationship difficulties, burnout, emotional overwhelm, are shaped by experiences that the body still carries, even when we logically “know better.” I holistically support clients in gently exploring these patterns, building emotional safety, and developing tools that help them feel more regulated, empowered, and connected in their daily lives.
Therapy with me is not one-size-fits-all; it is collaborative, tailored, and responsive to where you are and what you need. Offering a space that feels safe, grounded, and human 💛
- Our Services
Compassionate Care for Individuals, Couples, and Families
Individuals
One-on-one therapy offers a supportive space to explore your inner world, process difficult experiences, and better understand patterns. Our work may focus on anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, identity, or major life transitions. Sessions are tailored to you, integrating emotional, cognitive, and body-based approaches to help you feel more regulated, grounded, and connected to yourself.
Couple
Couples therapy focuses on understanding relational patterns, strengthening conflict resolution, and improving communication between partners. Working to uncover underlying needs, attachment styles, and nervous system responses that shape how you relate to one another supports couples in rebuilding trust, navigating conflict more effectively, and fostering deeper connection.
EMDR
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) is a gold standard trauma-focused therapy that helps the brain process distressing memories that remain unprocessed. By working with the nervous system, EMDR can reduce the emotional intensity of past experiences and their impact on present-day life. This approach is particularly effective for trauma and is delivered at a pace that prioritises safety and stability.
Assessments
Psychological assessments provide structured insight into emotional functioning, behavioural patterns, and cognitive processes. They can be helpful for diagnostic clarification, treatment planning, or self-understanding. Assessments are conducted with care and sensitivity, and results are discussed collaboratively to ensure they are meaningful, clear, and supportive of your overall wellbeing.

Frequently Asked Questions
Not at all. Some people come to therapy with a clear concern, while others simply feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected. Therapy can be a space to explore whatever feels present for you, even if you don’t yet have the words for it.
The first session is a gentle starting point. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, what you’re hoping for, and any questions or concerns you may have. There’s no pressure to share everything at once, the focus is on getting to know you and creating a sense of safety and ease.
Therapy looks different for everyone. Some clients come for short-term support around a specific issue, while others choose longer-term work. We regularly check in about pace and progress and adjust the process to suit your needs.
Yes. Confidentiality is a core part of therapy. Sessions are private and guided by professional and ethical standards, with a few legal exceptions that will be explained clearly. Your trust and safety are always prioritised.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, we ask that you provide at least 24 hours notice. Late cancellations or missed appointments are subject to a fee. This helps us respect both your time and the time reserved for other clients.
Finding the right therapist is an important part of the process. You’re welcome to reach out with questions or book an initial session to see how it feels. Therapy works best when you feel comfortable, understood, and supported.
